Team Faith's Kelly Smith won a hard fight battle against the young guns of the sport at the 2021 Hydrofest in Guntersville, AL on June 26-27. Kelly piloted his Huracán-R to a 2nd in Heat 1, a 1st in Heat 2 and lined up in the 2nd position for the start of the Finals where he got the holeshot and led a few laps before spinning out in the tight section of the track and dropping back to 3rd where he spent the rest of the 12-minute moto working his way back to the lead. The race was red-flagged 1 minute early due to buoys moving on the course rendering it unsafe to continue. But in the end Kelly came out with the VICTORY.
